In a fast-changing world, company directors have to meet increasingly complex and demanding expectations. Not only are directors required to take into account the often conflicting interests of a variety of stakeholders, but they are responsible (and possibly liable) for the company’s impact on the environment and their decisions are increasingly subject to legal and extralegal scrutiny.
