Herman Daems is an emeritus professor at KU Leuven in Belgium, where he currently chairs the governing body. He has also taught at Harvard Business School and IESE in Barcelona. Since 1990 he has served as a director at numerous companies and organisations. He is the current Chairman of the Board at BNP Paribas Fortis.
