Driving EU Competitiveness: Strengthening Corporate Governance for the Future

On March 19, EcoDa, The European Confederation of Directors Associations, organises their 20th anniversary event, from 10:00 to 13:00 CET, to discuss EU Competitiveness and Corporate Governance,  through two panel discussions:

• Developing the Right Ecosystem for EU Competitiveness Discover the national and EU-level strategies necessary to build a thriving and competitive European economy.
• The Role of Corporate Governance in Boosting European Competitiveness. Explore how strong corporate governance practices can drive sustainable growth and innovation across Europe. This panel will address sector-specific challenges and discuss how board members can navigate and overcome these hurdles.

The event will feature insightful keynote speeches from two distinguished experts:

• Dan Dionisie, Head of Unit, European Commission, DG JUST, Unit A3 – Company Law.

• Colin Mayer, Emeritus Professor of Management Studies, Said Business School, University of Oxford.

   

In addition, Prof. Dr. Konstantinos Sergakis, Knowledge & Research Director at GUBERNA, will take part in a discussion on Corporate Governance: Upcoming Challenges alongside:

• Rytis Ambrazevičius, Chair, ecoDa
• Valentine Deprez, Board Member, Greenyard
