About the Directors Council

The GUBERNA Directors Council meets four times a year under the co-chairmanship of Pierre-Henri D'haene and Danny Vande Vyver to reflect on and enhance the GUBERNA education offer and the functioning of the GUBERNA (Certified) Directors network. This platform serves as a strategic think tank, fostering dialogue and providing insights to strengthen the organization’s impact and member engagement.

The Council focuses on several key objectives: increasing the visibility and value of member benefits, and promoting the ambassadorial role of GUBERNA (Certified) Directors. Through these efforts, the Council aims to reinforce the importance of good governance and to support continuous professional development within the network.

By fostering collaboration and sharing best practices, the GUBERNA Directors Council plays a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the GUBERNA community. It remains committed to ensuring that the GUBERNA (Certified) Directors network is a dynamic and valuable resource for current and future leaders.

    As ambassadors of GUBERNA's training programmes, the Director Council of GUBERNA supports the continuous development of board members through mentorship and the co-creation of new learning initiatives. We strengthens governance excellence by fostering a dynamic community of directors, enabling meaningful connections and knowledge sharing on real-world governance challenges. Acting as a bridge between Guberna and its alumni, we cultivate a bidirectional partnership where insights from experienced and aspiring directors drive innovation, inspire leadership, and shape the future of governance.
