"Social profit organisations as inspiration: how to organise governance to achieve sustainable impact".

The transition is leading many companies to move towards sustainable value creation. These companies are questioning and appropriating the issues related to the different types of impacts they can have. These are no longer measured solely in economic terms, but also in environmental, cultural, social and political terms.

We will therefore start from the point of view that the characteristics and practices experienced in NPOs can potentially inspire other forms of organisations in the transition. In fact, the ASBLs, through their desire to create societal value, have been aiming to have an impact other than economic for many decades. Furthermore, and in this context, the traditional opposition between "companies and NPOs" becomes less a question of pure nature than of orientation and prioritisation. The boundary between these two "worlds" is thus becoming increasingly blurred and porous. It is clear that more and more NPOs are establishing so-called commercial activities, and that more and more companies are placing societal and environmental issues at the heart of their actions and motivations.

It is in this context that we will have several spotlight interviews, from different sectors, with actors from the world of business and NPOs. We will see how their governance model and practices can support them in creating sustainable value. Then, an interactive discussion will take place based on your contributions and questions. Finally, we will end with a convivial drink.
