Launch event Sports Sponsorship Charter

GUBERNA wants to promote good governance in sport. To this end, together with a number of sports federations and sponsors, it has drawn up a sports sponsorship charter. Launched in early February, this tool enables agreements to be drawn up and concluded on the basis of shared values and objectives, strengthening the social role of sport.

To concretise the principles of the charter, we are organising a national launch event. The event will take place on 16 April at the BELvue Museum in Brussels, starting at 2.30pm The end is scheduled around 5.30pm. The aim of this half-day event is to give all stakeholders the insight and tools to shape a balanced relationship between the sponsor and the sports federation and make numerous issues negotiable. It also aims to facilitate networking between sports federations and with sponsors.

A dynamic presentation of the sports sponsorship charter will be followed by testimonials from athletes, federations, leagues, sponsors both commercial and public, traditional/classical and family businesses. etc. so that everyone no matter how big and/or how small leaves with inspiration and all kinds of useful tips. The meeting will conclude with a cocktail offering networking opportunities across language borders. The full programme will be published in the near future.
