GUBERNA General Members Assembly 2024

We are pleased to invite our members to participate in GUBERNA's digital General Assembly on Thursday 25 April 2024. There, we would like to present to you the results and prospects of our organisation.

In addition, we will offer you a keynote 'Board perspectives in the era of AI risks and opportunities' by Bart Becks, around the place of new technologies in society. Bart Becks is a board member of the European Innovation Council (EIC), Europe's flagship program dedicated to identifying and scaling breakthrough technology innovations. Additionally, he is a co-founder and board member of BeCentral and E-Health valley. Over the last years, he served as the Executive Chairman of the EURACTIV Media Network, leading to its recent acquisition by Mediahuis. He recently launched a new venture that includes providing advisory services in technology innovation to large organizations.

This keynote explores the crucial role of boards in navigating the dual challenges of AI: leveraging its transformative potential while managing associated risks. Attendees will gain actionable insights on guiding their organizations through the complexities of AI integration, ensuring ethical, strategic, and effective leadership in the digital era.
