Appointment Bruno Colmant as Vice Chairman of the GUBERNA Alumni Council
The mission of the GUBERNA Alumni Council is to create a diverse group of members, Directors and Certified Directors who represent GUBERNA’s most important ambassadors of good governance.
To further strengthen GUBERNA’s purpose (Better Boards, Better Organisations, Better World) and strategic pillars (Knowledge Development, Reach and Lifelong Learning), Bruno Colmant has been appointed as Vice Chairman of this Council.
With Bruno on board, GUBERNA wants to accelerate the realisation of one of her major objectives: unite and connect a representative number of directors and organisations to exchange good governance practices through national and regional community building, data collection, state of the art communication and smart partnerships. In relation to GUBERNA, Bruno describes himself as follows:
En ce qui concerne GUBERNA, mon affiliation et association date de 2006, année au cours de laquelle, étant moi-même administrateur de la Fondation des Administrateurs, l’idée émergera de fusionner cette Fondation et le Belgian Governance Institute afin de former GUBERNA en 2007. Ce travail fut accompli en grande confiance par Lutgart Van den Berghe et moi-même. J’ai ensuite, de 2007 à 2018, siégé comme administrateur de GUBERNA avant de céder mon siège à Mr. Philippe Masset. Lors de ma présidence de la Bourse de Bruxelles, j’ai été un membre ex officio de la Commission de Corporate Governance. Je suis Administrateur Certifié de GUBERNA et continue à participer au titre de formateur, aux programmes de GUBERNA.
Bruno also accepted recently to become the president of the GUBERNA Pool of Talent. This initiative allows our GUBERNA Certified Directors to join a skilled and experienced group of experts that GUBERNA can call upon for specific assignments.
We welcome Bruno as Vice Chairman of the GUBERNA Alumni Council, and we are confident that, with his network, knowledge and passion about governance, Bruno will act as a key ambassador of GUBERNA and of good governance.
